I am currently working out a simple method to make a readable and searchable list - I am not a programmer after all.
"Why not just take existing code or entire lists and just confirm single sets?" you may ask.
Because copyright laws are awful in that regard. Just copying things off other sites could get me in trouble; also, the whole reason to make this project was, that I experienced first hand multiple issues with already existing lists, even from commercially provided ones.
Especially for older vehicles, where manually created lists where just scanned with bad OCR software and nobody bothers to fix these.

If you want to provide data, you can do so (at the moment) via eMail.
The reuqired informations are:
"Parts Name" "Parts Number" "Manufacturer" "Vehicle brand and model" "Vehicle Date of Manufacturing" "Simple Engine Type"
e.g. "Alternator 90 Amps" "0123456789" "OEM (Bosch, Valeo, etc) or 3rd Party" "Audi A4 B5" "04/2000" "1.9 TDI"
The more information, the better the data quality. You can even go the simple way and just send pictures of the part number and your relevant vehicle documents - no pictures will be permanently saved or published - I will extract the required information manually.

Future plans include setting up a form, where you can submit the data on site as well..
